DongHua(XiaoMing) Xie, MD,PHD,FECSM is a well-recognized expert in Urology/Andrology with extensive fellowship training in Male Infertility, Sexual Medicine and Female Urology/Voiding dysfunction. He has exceptional surgical skills on non-scaple vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, microsurgical varicocelectomy, microsurgical testicular sperm extraction (Micro-TESE), botox injection and denervation surgery for chronic testicular pain, injection and shockwave therapies for erectile dysfunction and penile curvature, and penile implant surgery. He is one of the best andrologists in this nation serving patients throughout Florida with offices in Margate, Broward County; Homestead, Miami-Dade County; Stuart, Martin County; Boca Raton, Palm Beach County; Orlando, Orange County; Jacksonville, Duval County; and Gainesville, Alachua County. In addition, he is an expert in treating patients with voiding dysfunction for both men and women, including but not limited to urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, and obstructive uropathy, using cutting-edged techniques such as bulking agent injection, Botox injection, percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS), sacral neuromodulation (Interstim), mini-sling, pelvic organ prolapse repair, and Rezum procedure (water vaporization) for enlarged prostate. Dr. Xie completed Urology residency at Medical Center of Fudan University (formerly Shanghai Medical University) in China with honors. He then served as a postdoctoral research fellow at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Duke University Medical Center followed by clinical training at renowned institutions including Duke University Medical Center, University of Illinois at Chicago, Weill Cornell Medical College and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and Nova Southeastern University. He has published more than 100 peer reviewed papers, abstracts, and book chapters and was a winner for numerous research awards from Sexual Medicine Society of North America, American Society of Andrology, American Heart Association, and Society for Vascular Medicine. He currently serves as an editor for Urology-Clinics in Surgery and is a reviewer for numerous scientific journals. Dr. Xie speaks fluent Chinese and English. He communicates well with patients who speak Spanish, Portuguese, French-Creole, and Vietnamese.
